This isn’t a plug-and-play calculator. It’s the spreadsheet I built to model a couple’s (Ben & Leslie’s) bridge to retirement, sequencing withdrawals across taxable, pre-tax, and Roth accounts year by year, while tracking ACA subsidies and taxes as they respond to those decisions.
Enter your age, retirement timing, spending target, account balances, and Social Security estimate, then test a few market scenarios. Roth conversions and 72(t) distributions show up as explicit, visible decisions, not hidden recommendations from a black-box tool.
A few honest limitations: this was built for couples in the $1.5M-$3M range with early retirement spending around $70,000-$120,000. It doesn’t handle stock compensation, business income, pensions, or state taxes, and it assumes current federal tax law holds.
